Map Planning
PlanIt Earth starts from a full-screen map. Search, drop markers, switch map providers, and use camera/scene pins to describe the exact composition geometry.

PlanIt Earth User Guide
PlanIt Earth is the map-first planning app for landscape, astro, weather, terrain, satellite, transit, and camera-position work. Use it to decide where to stand, when to be there, and what the sky and terrain will do.
PlanIt Earth
Map-based photo planning
PlanIt Earth starts from a full-screen map. Search, drop markers, switch map providers, and use camera/scene pins to describe the exact composition geometry.
Scrub time for any date. Sun, Moon, Milky Way, cards, overlays, reminders, and viewfinder previews stay linked to the active planning time.
Use Sun/Moon, Milky Way, planets, eclipses, meteor showers, deep-sky targets, satellites, and compass/AR overlays to place the sky against the ground.
Terrain viewfinder uses elevation data to preview skylines, mountain profiles, horizon blocks, and 3D line-of-sight planning.
Choose a place on the map. Use search, map center, or saved markers for the planning location.
Set the camera pin and scene pin when composition depends on the shooting position and subject position.
Change the date and time, then watch the map, cards, compass, and viewfinder update together.
Use map layers for satellite, terrain, Windy, light pollution, day/night shading, eclipse paths, and offline satellite context.
Open 3D Compass, AR, or Terrain viewfinder when you need direction, altitude, skyline, or framing checks.
Save plans, markers, reminders, and shareable QR links when a shoot needs to be revisited later.
These destinations come from PlanIt Earth's feature search and app route list. They are the major places users can jump to from the app.
